This privacy policy applies only to the Deal Hunt for eBay mobile application published by Cultivate Digital ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
Deal Hunt for eBay is an informational shopping and deal-discovery app designed to help users browse listings and navigate to third-party marketplace pages. The App does not sell products directly and does not process purchases inside the App.

Information you provide or generate in the app
In Short: We may process information related to how you search for and view listings in the App.
Depending on the features you use, this may include search terms, category selections, filters, sorting preferences, saved preferences, watchlist or favorites data if offered, and other information you choose to enter while using the App.
Outbound links and referral activity
In Short: When you tap a listing or external purchase link, third parties may receive data and we may receive limited attribution information.
If you open a listing, external product page, or marketplace link from the App, the destination platform or affiliate provider may collect technical and transaction-related information under its own privacy policy. We may receive limited reporting such as whether a link was clicked, whether a referral was attributed, or whether a qualifying purchase event occurred.
Support communications
In Short: If you contact us directly, we may receive the information you include in your message.
This may include your name, email address, device details, screenshots, and any description of the issue or request you send us.
Device and technical information
In Short: Some technical information may be processed to operate the App, maintain security, and support referral or external-link functionality.
Depending on the platform, the App, operating system, app store, or third-party providers may process limited technical information such as device type, app version, operating system, approximate diagnostics, timestamps, IP address, or referral metadata needed for app operation, troubleshooting, security, or affiliate attribution.
What we do not process for marketplace purchases
In Short: We do not process your payment card details or complete marketplace purchases in the App.
Purchases are completed on third-party platforms such as eBay. We do not directly process your payment card information for those purchases, and we do not control the personal information you submit directly to sellers, marketplaces, payment processors, or shipping providers.
2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We process information to operate the App, support listing discovery, support affiliate referral functionality, respond to users, and comply with law.
Deal Hunt for eBay may process information to:
- Display, sort, filter, and organize listing-discovery features
- Open or route you to third-party listings, item pages, and external marketplace links
- Measure referral, click-through, or affiliate attribution where applicable
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot reported issues
- Maintain security, prevent misuse, enforce terms, and comply with legal obligations
3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON TO PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
In Short: We process your information only when we have a valid legal basis.
Depending on your location, legal bases may include:
- Contract, to provide the App features and services you request
- Consent, where you voluntarily contact us or grant permissions
- Legitimate interests, such as app security, fraud prevention, referral measurement, support, and internal administration
- Legal obligations, where processing is required by applicable law
4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
In Short: We share information only in limited situations.
We may share information:
- With eBay or other third-party marketplaces when you choose to open external listing or purchase links
- With affiliate, referral, link-routing, or attribution providers used to support outbound marketplace links
- With Apple App Store and/or Google Play for app distribution and any app-store-level records they process
- With service providers that support app operation, security, or support if used and disclosed in the App or this notice
- With authorities, advisors, counterparties, or successors where required by law, legal process, or business transfer
5. THIRD-PARTY LINKS, MARKETPLACES, AND AFFILIATE SERVICES
Deal Hunt for eBay may rely on third-party services or destinations such as:
- eBay and other linked marketplace or seller pages
- Affiliate, referral, or attribution providers used to track outbound clicks or qualifying referrals
- Apple App Store and Google Play for app distribution
As of the Last updated date of this notice, Deal Hunt for eBay does not identify an app-specific subscription processor because the App does not currently offer paid subscriptions.
If we later add app-specific analytics providers, ad networks, crash-reporting SDKs, subscription tools, or other material third-party services, we may update this notice accordingly.
6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice.
App preferences, saved states, and other local app data may remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the App.
Support emails and related communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, keep records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Third-party marketplaces, affiliate providers, app stores, and other linked services may retain information under their own legal and operational retention policies.
7. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information under our control. However, no digital storage, device, marketplace, or transmission method can be guaranteed 100% secure.
8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
Deal Hunt for eBay is not directed to children under 13.
If you believe personal information from a child has been provided to us directly in a way that violates applicable law, contact us so we can review and address the issue.
9. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal information.
Because some App data may remain on your device and some marketplace or referral data may be handled by third parties, exercising your rights may require a combination of contacting us, using in-app controls if available, adjusting your device settings, and contacting the relevant third-party provider directly.
10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Because there is no uniform Do-Not-Track standard, Deal Hunt for eBay does not currently state that it responds to browser or device DNT signals.
11. US STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS NOTICE
Residents of certain US states may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including rights to know, access, correct, delete, and appeal certain privacy request outcomes.
We do not sell personal information to data brokers.
Because some App-related data may be stored locally on your device and some linked-marketplace or affiliate data may be controlled by third parties, fulfilling certain requests may require you to use your device settings and/or contact the relevant third-party provider directly.

Yes. We may update this notice from time to time to reflect legal, technical, product, or business changes. The updated version will be indicated by the revised Last updated date on this page.

- Update or remove saved preferences or local records in the App where those controls are available
- Clear local app storage through your device settings
- Uninstall the App, which may remove locally stored app data from the device
For information handled by eBay, marketplaces, affiliate providers, app stores, or other third parties, you must use the privacy controls and request processes offered by those providers.
15. MARKETPLACE AND AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE
Deal Hunt for eBay is an informational discovery tool. When you leave the App and open a third-party listing, seller page, or marketplace, your interactions with that destination are governed by that third party's privacy policy and terms.
We may receive limited affiliate, referral, click-through, or conversion attribution from linked providers, but we do not control how those third parties collect, use, or retain data once you interact with their services.
We are not responsible for the privacy, security, or data-handling practices of sellers, marketplaces, payment processors, shipping providers, or affiliate networks.
16. RELATIONSHIP TO TERMS OF SERVICE
This notice should be read together with the Deal Hunt for eBay Terms of Service available at /terms/ebay-buyer-tool.html. If there is a conflict between this notice and the Terms regarding privacy or data handling, this notice controls to the extent of that conflict.
