MAKE ROOM PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to the Make Room mobile application, operated by Cultivate Digital, LLC ("Cultivate Digital," "we," "us," or "our").

Make Room is designed to help you protect time for real life by temporarily restricting access to distracting apps during times you choose.

We designed Make Room with privacy in mind. The App does not require an account and does not collect your contacts, precise location, photos, messages, browsing history, or the contents of other apps.

1. INFORMATION MAKE ROOM USES


Protected Time and App Preferences


Make Room allows you to create protected-time schedules, choose durations, select days and times, and configure which apps or app categories should be restricted.

This information is used solely to provide the App's core functionality.

Your protected-time schedules and related preferences are stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated within the App.

We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or data brokerage.


2. SCREEN TIME AND FAMILY CONTROLS


Make Room uses Apple's Screen Time technologies, including Family Controls and Managed Settings, to allow you to select apps, app categories, or websites that you want to restrict during protected time.

Apple represents these selections using privacy-preserving identifiers. Make Room uses these selections only to apply the restrictions you request.

Make Room does not collect or transmit to our servers:


Screen Time authorization is optional, but it is necessary for app-restriction features to function. You can revoke Make Room's Screen Time authorization through your device settings.


3. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES


Make Room may offer paid subscriptions through Apple's App Store.

Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full credit card number or other payment-card information.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, verify purchases, determine subscription status, and unlock paid features.

RevenueCat may process information necessary to provide these services, including:

We do not use RevenueCat information for third-party advertising.


4. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT


Make Room does not collect or access the following unless the App is changed in the future and this Privacy Policy is updated accordingly:

5. ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING, AND TRACKING


Make Room does not use your information for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share your information with data brokers or advertisers.

Subscription-related information may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat as described above for the purpose of processing purchases and providing subscription functionality.


6. NOTIFICATIONS


If you enable notifications, Make Room may send notifications related to your protected-time schedules, such as notifying you when protected time is about to begin, has begun, or has ended.

Notification permission is controlled by your device and can be disabled at any time in iOS Settings.


7. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION


Protected-time schedules, preferences, and Screen Time selections used by Make Room are stored on your device for as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality.

You can remove schedules and other locally stored information from within the App where those controls are available.

Deleting Make Room from your device removes locally stored App data, subject to Apple's normal device and backup behavior.

Subscription and purchase records may continue to be retained by Apple and RevenueCat as required to process, validate, restore, and administer subscriptions and as required by applicable law.


8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES


Apple


Apple provides App Store payment processing and the Screen Time technologies used by Make Room. Your use of Apple services is subject to Apple's applicable privacy policies and terms.

RevenueCat


RevenueCat provides subscription and purchase-management infrastructure. RevenueCat receives limited purchase and technical information necessary to validate subscriptions and provide subscription functionality.

Make Room does not authorize these services to use your information for advertising on our behalf.


9. DATA SECURITY


We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information handled by Make Room.

However, no electronic system or method of storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Because Make Room stores its core scheduling and Screen Time configuration locally on your device, the security of that information also depends on the security of your device and Apple account.

You remain in control of Make Room's permissions and functionality.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY


Make Room is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information under applicable privacy laws. These rights may include the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we maintain about you.

Because Make Room does not require an account and stores most App information locally on your device, we may not possess information that identifies you or allows us to fulfill certain requests.

13. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY


We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Make Room, third-party services, or applicable laws.

When we update the policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
